The character 囍 consists of two identical halves of "happiness", which means doubling happiness. It is mainly used as a symbol for weddings, newlyweds or in general for a couple, for example to enhance the currents of love if the relationship has cooled down a bit. The hieroglyph brings happiness to the family, harmony and fulfils wishes. All blessings are multiplied.
At the workshop we will draw the hieroglyph "double happiness" on traditional red paper with black and gold ink. There will also be an interactive option for couples, where both together draw one common hieroglyph, achieving agreement and harmony.

The character 錢, modern spelling 钱, traditionally consists of parts such as "gold" and two implements with a hook on the end. So you sort of hook wealth onto the hooks of the hieroglyph, like fishing. The character historically means those very famous Chinese coins with a square hole in the middle that bring good luck and wealth.
The sign promotes a quick increase in finances. It is placed in places where money is stored.
At the workshop we will draw the hieroglyph "money" on traditional red and white paper with black ink and gold. We will also draw a small version of the hieroglyph especially for the wallet.

On birthdays too, this character is used in conjunction with eating long traditional noodles, which also means a wish for a long life.

This flower always faces the sun. Being born in muddy, turbid water, the lotus comes into the world clean and unstained, no dirt sticks to it, which symbolises purity, beauty and spirituality. The Chinese believe that this flower grows in paradise and therefore the lotus is honoured as a sacred plant. The image of lotus is used to wish health, harmony in the soul, sublime and calm state.

In China, the image of a fish is considered a favourable symbol promising happiness, prosperity, wealth and harmony. In Chinese, the word "fish" (yu), consonant with the word "abundance"
A gift in the form of a picture with a Chinese fish is a coded wish of prosperity in the house.
If two fish are depicted, it is also a symbol of prosperity in a couple.

The Year of the Dragon is coming! Dragon in China is a symbol of protection, growth and success in business, happiness, wealth, fertility. It is the symbol of the emperor, and in general the most popular mythical creature in China!
On a wooden blank you will draw any basic background for your Dragon and make all the necessary details: mane, paws, scales, horns, beard, nose and eyes.
By the way, the expression: "To draw the dragon's pupils" in China means: "Finish what you started."

You will create your own original bracelet from wooden beads and charge it with the warmth of your heart.
Wood is not just a living natural material that has "chi" (life energy), it is also one of the five Chinese primary elements of wu xing. Wood in the circle of wu xing means growth, forward movement, success of any endeavour. It symbolises youth, spring, generosity.
At the workshop you will paint wooden beads in your favourite colours and varnish them. You can also make gold and silver beads with the help of sheet foil.
We will assemble the bracelet and make a convenient clasp. This bracelet can be worn by yourself or given as a gift to a dear person.

You will create your own original bracelet from unusual Chinese beads and knots of happiness. Each bead has its own meaning and energy. It can be Yin-Yang, dragon, money bag, lucky fish, coin, jade ring, hieroglyph and many more.
The colours of the beads have significance: they are mostly red, gold, green, black, white. They are bright open colours, symbolising happiness and wu xing, the 5 primary elements.
You can choose different options, on a rubber band or with a clasp.
Such a bracelet can be worn by yourself or given as a gift to a dear person.
